The comedic duo met at a play readthrough for The Berlin Circle in Chicago and sparks flew.“After rehearsal, one night we went and drove around,” recalled Offerman in a Vulture interview, “I put my hand on hers on the gearshift in the middle and that was very electric.” It didn’t take long for things to develop from there, “Opening night, somebody saw us making out and then the cat was out of the bag. And then we were dating,” added Mullally.

Despite his grizzly beard, Offerman is the younger one in the relationship. Mullally recalled to GQ when she found out his real age, “Yeah—I thought he looked old! And he was mature, so when I found out he was 29, I said these two words: YOU MOTHERFUCKER. And I almost ran my car off the road,” she was 41. But when it comes to these two, age ain’t no thang, because both have managed to keep each other on their toes which is why they are one of our favorite couples around.

“We put our relationship above everything else, including acting jobs, and that’s what — I think what can erode a relationship is allowing other things to take precedence over it. We have a rule that we will never do a job that will keep us apart for more than two weeks,” Nick told GQ.
